What is happening in the life of the church and our community
There are 20-30 regular guests who attend Reachout on a Wednesday evening and this includes families. If you could donate any items of food, tins, packets etc or a monetary donation, please speak to Jean Stevenson. Any donation would be very welcome. The volunteers of Reach Out would like to thank the recent monetary donations received from our congregation to Reach Out. They are very much appreciated.
Our Annual Summer Holiday Club for Primary ages children takes place from Monday 28th July to Friday 1st August each morning. We are on the look out for people who would be willing to get involved during the week in various different roles. If you are available and would like to find out some more information please speak to Colin Weir.
On Sunday 1st June we celebrate our first day as the new united congregation of ‘The Kirk at the Cross’. To mark this special day, there will be a buffet lunch for everyone in the large hall following morning worship. At 7.00pm that evening, Presbytery will hold a ‘Service of Union’ at 7.00pm with refreshments to follow. This is a huge day for all of is the life of our new Church and it would be wonderful to be able to welcome as many as possible to both of these services.
